HOW MUCH DO
YOU CHARGE FOR WEBSITE DESIGN?
Our website design
packages start at R2,600.00 for a basic
5-page website which includes Hosting 10 POp email adresses FTP
accessand also includes free.co.za domain.
Pricing for other
services and functionality are outlined separately to help you
determine and control the amount of your investment. We also provide
our clients with a detailed estimate before any work begins.
WHAT IS A “PAGE” DESIGN?
Web design itself refers to the process of creating a web page’s
appearance and to the choice of a right color scheme, page layout,
fonts and more. Every single web page in a website has different
content, but all the pages are using a similar graphic design.
Advertising Solutions makes use of website templates, which contain
all the basic elements of web design – the website’s CSS style,
buttons, backgrounds, borders and various graphic elements like hover
images, bullets and header banners. When the website template is
applied to the website, all the pages assume its appearance, using the
same styles, background and other graphical elements.
But most of
the pages in a website have their own design elements. This is needed
because every page has to present different content, and the basic
website style is not fully applicable for all the web pages. For
example, designing a contact form will sometimes require a custom
layout and design elements with which to handle the form’s fields,
buttons, drop-down menus, etc. All these styles, layouts, images, etc.
are often not applicable for the other website pages. So, the contact
page uses the basic website template for the menus, backgrounds,
header images, etc. but also has its own web page design, including
the contact form’s design itself and all the other elements specific
for that page.
Most small businesses only require up to 4 pages to
be designed, for example; Home, About us, Services and Contact us.

NEED FROM ME TO DESIGN MY WEBSITE?
We need all the
information that you would like to have on your website, this includes
the following:
• Written Content: This would be
anything like the services you provide, products you sell, company
information, etc. Usually a company profile will suffice.

Images/Photographs: Your logo, images and photos (Please
enquire if you do not have this available)

Contact Information: Telephone, Fax, Physical Address, Email Address,
etc.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DESIGN AND
BUILD A WEBSITE?
The time it takes to produce a website
depends on the size and complexity of your site. A basic 5-page
website typically takes around 2-7 days while large e-Commerce sites
can take up to 30 -40 days from beginning to end.
WILL MY WEBSITE WORK ON MOBILE
DEVICES?
Yes, using responsive design we ensure our sites
work on all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobiles.
DO YOU BUILD MOBILE APPS?
No, we don’t – but we do make our websites work on all devices.

much time-consuming it is to complete a website? :
The time limit
of any web assignment is normally dictated by the client, but is usually
about 2-4 weeks but can be longer depending on complexity of the
website. If you have any time limit in mind we will attempt to assemble
it for you. The main general delay in the making of a website is
waiting for the content of the pages to be
sent to us by the client.
What are your payment steps? :
We require 50% deposit of the contract value at the time
of starting the project. When you approve design and complete coding
the whole site then we'll show you the site from our server. After your
approval you need to pay remaining 50% to enable us to transfer the
whole site to your server.
Will I be having a full time dedicated
developer? :
Yes you will have your own dedicated developers, who
will work 180 hours in one month for your project. You can utilize our
ready to use IT infrastructure and dedicated leased lines, which will
ensure elimination of work interruption.
What do your websites
cost? :
To get a better idea of the cost of what you want to
build, give us a quick phone call. We'll ask you a few questions about
the nature of the site, what sort of interactivity the site will have,
your graphic design needs, etc. Then we'll be able to give you a
ballpark figure. If youre still interested, we'll come to your place of
business and come up with a firm quote.
Can I select my preferred
developer? :
Yes, you can select the developers you prefer. The
company provides resumes of selected programmers and sends to the
client. The client then selects few of them to work on the project.
How many developers can I hire for my project? :
You can hire
as many developers as you want. The number of developers that you hire
depends entirely on the difficulty and requirements of your project.
However, if you have a project with a high level of complexity, then you
can hire an entire designing and development team based on your
requirements.
